WHAT:
Last year, Solid Ground's Lettuce Link / Marra Farm Giving Garden hosted a farm tour followed by an outdoor screening and the Seattle premiere of The Greenhorns at Marra Farm in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood. Marra Farm is a model urban community farm engaging people in sustainable agriculture and education while enhancing local food security. Check back this summer for details about the 2012 Outdoor Movie at Marra Farm!

WHY:
All proceeds from the Movie Night benefit Solid Ground’s
Lettuce Link / Marra Farm Giving Garden program. 

HOW:

• Our $10 Ticket Price includes a tour of Marra Farm, appetizers, nonalcoholic beverages and the movie. (2011 nibbles were generously provided by Homegrown Sustainable Sandwich Shop.)
• Rain or shine! (We'll set up canopies in case of rain.)
• Bring your own blankets or lawn chairs to sit on.

MOVIE NIGHT SCHEDULE:

• 6:30 pm: Arrive / mingle / refreshments
• 7:00 pm: Tour of Marra Farm
• Dusk: Movie
